In case two candidates secure the same rank in IGNOU B.Ed 2025, the following criteria will be used to break the tie in a fair manner:

Candidates’ Qualification

• Candidates who scored above 50% in their postgraduate programme receive 2 marks.

• Candidates who scored above 50% in their undergraduate programme receive 1 mark.

• If the tie still persists, candidates with higher scores are given an advantage.

Candidates’ Age

• If the tie continues even after considering the candidates' qualifications, we prioritise based on their age.

• Candidates who are older will be given preference.

Counselling for IGNOU B.Ed 2025 admission will be conducted at designated PSCs on Saturdays and Sundays. The maximum intake for all PSCs is 50. Candidates must submit all documents on the day of counselling, otherwise, admission will be cancelled and no fee refunded. Those who fail to report at the allocated PSC will be disqualified from further rounds of seat allocation.
