    About CUET PG 2026

    CUET PG 2026: The National Testing Agency has issued CUET PG admit card 2026 for exams from March 18 for al lthe remaining exams, to be held till March 27. The agency also issued the CUET PG city slip 2026 on March 12 for exams from March 16 to 27. The NTA started conducting CUET PG 2026 exams from March 6 in CBT mode. NTA has released the CUET PG 2026 subject-wise schedule on the official portal. Aspirants should bring the CUET PG hall ticket to the exam centre to appear for the exam. Around 203 universities will offer admission to post graduate programmes through CUET PG 2026.

    What is CUET PG?

    The National Testing Agency conducts the CUET PG to offer admissions for various PG programmes across India in central, state and several other participating universities. The CUET PG full form is Common University Entrance Test Post Graduate. The CUET PG 2026 is being held for 157 subjects including languages. The participating universities will accept admissions based on the marks obtained in the CUET PG exam. The universities will release separate cut off lists on the official website based on the CUET PG result. Candidates who will be qualified in the CUET PG exam can attend the counselling process by submitting the documents for verification. The validity for CUET PG entrance exam lasts till the end of that session.

    CUET PG 2026 Admission Process

    The admission process of CUET PG will involve five steps. The admission process starts with filling the application form and ends with counselling. The steps of CUET PG 2026 admission process are given below:

    • CUET PG application form: Aspirants who are interested to get admission in CUET PG participating universities were required to fill and submit the application form by visiting the official website of CUET PG.

    • CUET PG admit card: NTA has issued the CUET PG 2026 hall ticket on March 12 for exams from March 16 to 19. Candidates should use their login credentials to download the CUET PG admit card 2026.

    • NTA CUET PG 2026 exam: The CUET PG entrance exam is being held from March 6 to 27 in CBT mode. Aspirants should go through the exam pattern and CUET PG syllabus to get more marks in the exam.

    • CUET PG result: NTA will announce the CUET PG 2026 result in online mode. To download the CUET PG result 2026, applicants should use their login credentials.

    • CUET PG 2026 counselling: The participating universities of CUET PG will start the counselling process after the announcement of the results. The universities will release the CUET PG merit list based on the scores. The shortlisted candidates should attend the CUET PG counselling and submit all the necessary documents for verification.

    The National Testing Agency has reserved seats for students from various categories. These reservations are intended to offer equal opportunities at the time for admission. Students who belong to categories such as SC/ ST/ PwD/ EWS can make use of this CUET PG 2026 reservation through a lower registration fees, minimum cutoff and admission fees. It is worth mentioning that these reservation facilities are only obtainable upon submitting the supporting documents. Here are the details on CUET PG reservation criteria 2026.

    • For EWS candidates: Students need to submit the General EWS certificate (as per Annexure-IB in CUET PG 2026 brochure), along with declaration from a competent authority, following the guidelines issued by the Government of India.

    • For OBC-NCL candidates: Candidates claiming seats under OBC-NCL category must submit the OBC-NCL certificate (as mentioned in Annexure-IIA of the CUET PG 2026 bulletin), from a suitable authority, following the Indian government guidelines.

    • For SC/ ST Candidates: To avail reservation under SC/ ST categories, students must upload the SC/ ST certificate, issued by appropriate authority (as per the format mentioned in Annexure III of the CUET PG 2026 information bulletin).
