Tie Breaker Criteria for PG courses

• In the merit list, the candidate with the highest percentage in the Qualifying Examination is given preference.

• If there is still a tie, the candidate with the higher percentage in the final year of a bachelor's degree is given preference, followed by the candidate with the higher percentage in the previous year, and so on.

• If the tie cannot be broken, the candidates with the highest aggregate marks (five subjects plus one language) in the class XII Board examination will be given preference.

Normalization of candidate’s DUET 2022 Marks

To announce the DUET result 2022, the candidates' scores were normalized using the equi-percentile method. This procedure is used to modify the difficulty of question papers.
