Assam Agricultural University Common Entrance Test - AAU CET

AAU CET 2026- The Assam Agricultural University will start the AAU CET 2026 admission process in June. Candidates can apply for admission through the website at admission.aau.ac.in. The AAU CET 2026 registration can be done using a valid mobile number and email ID. Candidates must download and read the AAU CET eligibility criteria before filling out the form.

The Assam Agricultural University conducted the AAU CET PG examination in offline mode. The Assam Agricultural University entrance exam feature objective-type questions with negative marking and have separate UG and PG question papers. The AAU CET exam is for the duration of 2 hours and consist of 160 marks. It consist of 160 multiple-choice questions in both English and Assamese, each worth 1 mark. 

What is AAU CET 2026?

The AAU CET is an exam used to assess applicants for entry into undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes in the fields of Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Horticulture, Sericulture, Fishery Science, Community Science, and Food, Nutrition & Dietetics. The Assam Higher Secondary Educational Council has set the 10+2 syllabus for Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology as the basis for the entrance test. The AAU CET 2026 is conducted in three sessions at all test centres in Assam, and a common merit list of the candidates is prepared based on percentile ranking in each session of the test across all the test centres. The scores of the Assam Agriculture entrance exam are used for admission to the various courses offered by the university.
