Most of the B.Com. courses don’t have math as an essential subject. Which may arise a question among students "Is maths compulsory for BCom in DU?". According to DU information bulletin 2025, students without maths background in Class 12 are also eligible for admissions in Delhi University. Similarly for B.com programme, mathematics is not mandatory in Class 12.
Since the process of grading varies a great deal among the various boards, candidates should make it a point to convert their grades into the percentage system and use that to check the minimum B.Com. eligibility in DU.
