    How Many Questions Come in the CUET 2026 Exam?

    The National Testing Agency is the conducting body for the CUET entrance test and is also responsible for setting the number of questions. From the year 2025 onwards, the CUET number of questions is reduced to 50 for each subject. Earlier, 150 questions were asked from all three sections (language, domain subject and general test). However, the total number of questions in the CUET exam depends on the number of subjects chosen by the students. Students will have to choose among 13 languages, 23 domain-specific domains and 1 GAT.

    The NTA conducts the CUET UG every year for admission to the top colleges of the country. The examination was conducted for 60 minutes. There is also negative marking in the CUET UG questions. 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

    How Many Questions Come in CUET 2026 Exam?- Section-wise

    The CUET exam 2026 is conducted for each section only. There will be a total of 37 subjects, including 13 languages, 23 domain-specific specific and 1 GAT. Candidates will have to make subject combinations. Every subject combination must have 5 subjects. The overall percentile will be decided by considering all the combined marks.

    Aspirants can check the number of questions for each stream and subject combination. Aspirants must remember that they can choose a maximum of 5 subjects. Besides these combinations, they may select some other subjects too.
